Down at the Beach

The rain finally held off today, so I took the opportunity to go for a drive and take some photos. I ended up at Borth & Ynyslas (about an hour away from home).
It was cold and windy, but that didn’t stop some people enjoying the beach. One family braved putting their feet in the old Irish Sea water, while others were flying kites (perfect weather for it!).

I LOVE these pictures Nikki-Ann….you get such a feeling of the place and the wether, too….Like it’s on the verge of possibly raining again any minute….! The Kites look like flyng Bananas in some of those pictures (lol)….
Here, the sun is out and almost no sign of the ‘heavy rain’ they told us would be forthcoming today….though, that could ALL change at a moments notice….lol!

As someone who grew up on the shores of Southeast Alaska, I miss looking out at the ocean. It’s always so restful on the eyes. Thanks for sharing these, Nikki-ann!

Great pics! They really show a cold day at the beach having fun I especially like the large one of the family with the reflections on the wet sand.

Thank you for visiting my blog the other day Nikki..it’s great to have new visitors!..I’ve just had a little look around here..lovely photos..and you also have an obvious appreciation for Torchwood etc… Good to see JB looking at ease with meeting the fans..so many celebs don’t like those events and stay for as short a time as poss. I LOVE the beach on a cold winter day. We find the best shells here on days like that! I like seeing your beach.
